Requirements:

Proficient in Ghost Practice and LexisConvey.
Experience in conventional transfers, sectional title transfers, estate transfers, and divorce transfers.
Opening of files to the finalisation of a transfer.
Excellent drafting skills in conveyancing documentation and all related functions.
Skilled in attending to the finances related to a transfer.
Liaising with clients, attorneys and estate agents.
Correspondent service experience will be advantageous.
General conveyancing secretarial duties.

FORECLOSURE PARALEGAL

Heyns and Partners are looking for a Foreclosure Paralegal who has extensive experience and knowledge (minimum 3 years) with Foreclosure Litigation in both commercial and residential matters.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
Substantive experience in drafting briefs and motions, responding to subpoenas, facilitating closings and other tasks associated with Contested Foreclosure Litigation.
Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, detail-oriented and able to handle large volumes of work.
Knowledge and experience of working on bank portals will be advantageous.

TRANSFERS CONVEYANCER

Heyns and Partners have a permanent position available in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town for a Transfers Conveyancer.

Qualifications and requirements:

Proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
Proficient in Ghost Practice and LexisConvey.
Experience in conventional transfers, sectional title transfers, estate transfers, and divorce transfers.
Running of files from the beginning to the finalisation of a transfer.
Minimum of 5 years (post-admission) of strong and proven conveyancing experience in the property law environment.
Excellent drafting skills in conveyancing documentation and all related functions.
Skilled in attending to the finances related to a transfer.
Willing to liaise with clients and action business development for the firm.
Team-player.
Liaising with clients, attorneys, and estate agents.
Correspondent service experience will be advantageous.
General conveyancing experience in the deeds office.
Must be able to handle complex transactions.

Bond Secretary

Heyns and Partners have a permanent position available in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town for a Bond Secretary.

Qualifications and requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ solid experience in bond registrations (residential and commercial).
Proficient in E4 and LexisConvey.
Experience with bond registrations for FNB, Nedbank, and Standard Bank.
Ability to manage high-volume bond matters from instruction to lodgement, registration, and financial finalisation.
Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures and documentation.
Comfortable working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Matric essential; a post-matric conveyancing or legal qualification will be advantageous.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial account handling.
Ability to liaise professionally with clients, banks, and attorneys.

ESTATE ATTORNEY

Heyns and Partners have a permanent position available in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town for an Estate Attorney.

Responsibilities:

Attending to estate administration.
Drafting and reviewing wills, trusts and other estate planning documents.
Advising clients on matters related to estate administration, estate planning and trust administration.
Qualifications and requirements:
Admitted Attorney with 5 years post-administration experience.
Proven experience in estate administration.
Strong research, writing and analytical skills
Proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
Strong communication skills.
Able to provide top-notch legal advice.
Able to handle a variety of estate administration and estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, curatorship, and other related areas.
